Obituary
Linda Kaye Paddock Mitchell of Ada, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the age of 75. She was born on May 16, 1948 in Durant, Oklahoma to William and Cleo (Paddock) Edwards. She married the love of her life, Freddie Mitchell, on September 27, 1967 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Linda worked as a beautician, making others look and feel beautiful. She was creative and enjoyed sewing and decorating as well. One of her hobbies was collecting Egyptian things.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Freddie Mitchell of Ada, Oklahoma, her son Heath Mitchell and wife Elisa of Durant, Oklahoma, brothers William Galloway and James Atkinson, stepbrother Dwight Waffle, and sisters Yvonne Collins, and Stella Mays. Her legacy lives on with her grandsons Zachery Mitchell, Corey Mitchell, and Alex Storm Mitchell, great-grandchildren Daelan Mitchell, Remington Mitchell, Zala Mitchell, and Raven Mitchell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents William and Cleo Edwards, son Lance Mitchell, sister Patricia Risner, and brother Tommy Waffle.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Oklahoma with Dale Ruble officiating.
