Deborah “Nana” June Portman, a resident of Durant, Oklahoma, passed away from this earthly life on Wednesday November 4, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born in Cobb, Oklahoma on February 4, 1954. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was Nana to all who knew and loved her.

Debbie cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her great grandkids, whom she called her “little buddies”. She loved caring for her family. She considered them all her greatest blessing. She enjoyed reading mystery novels, watching True Crime shows, playing Candy Crush, and telling everyone stories of her life. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley. Last year she was excited to make her first and only trip to Graceland to visit Elvis’ home with her daughter Laci and son-in-law Scott. She enjoyed evenings spent with her son Donnie and daughter-in-law Autumn.

Debbie did not belong to a church, but she did have her own personal relationship with God. She was a Baptist and often prayed for her family.

She cherished every moment she spent with family and friends. She worked at Texas Instruments for almost 20 years and made a lot of lifelong friends along the way. She was a 5-year Breast Cancer survivor! She cherished every day granted to her.
