Charlotte Louise (Lewis) Miller of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed away July 29, 2022, at the age of 75. She was born November 19, 1946, in Durant, Oklahoma to Grady Lewis and Jerline (Percell) Lewis. On January 20, 1978, Charlotte married Earl Miller in Durant, Oklahoma. Charlotte worked as a cashier for Walmart before retiring. She enjoyed many things in her life such as camping and fishing in her early years, watching the Texas Rangers play baseball, and babysitting little loved ones. She also loved collecting salt & pepper shakers. Charlotte was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She played and sang in church for many years. Those left behind to cherish Charlotte’s memory include her daughters Angela Lee of Calera, Oklahoma, Rhonda Ferguson of Denison, Texas, and Karen Huckstead of Sherman, Texas, and sister Cheryl Griffith of Bokchito, Oklahoma. Also surviving Charlotte are her grandsons Philip Spicer of Arkansas, and Dillon Huckstead of Sherman, Texas, and her granddaughters Amber Patrick of Denison, Texas, Halee Ferguson of Durant, Oklahoma, Brittany Huckstead of Sherman, Texas, and Brandi Stevenson of Calera, Oklahoma. Charlotte’s legacy lives on with her great-grandchildren Landon Ferguson of Durant, Oklahoma, Dakota Harding of New Mexico, Andrew Spicer of Perris, California, Guiliana Spicer of Perris, California, Lakota Stevenson of Calera, Oklahoma, Aiden Grimes of Sherman, Texas, Chase Stevenson of Calera, Oklahoma, Crimson Hayes of Denison, Texas, and Tali Stevenson of Calera, Oklahoma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Those preceding Charlotte in death are her parents Grady Lewis and Jerline Hobbs, husband Earl Miller, and her brother Lonnie Lewis. Family hour of visitation will be held from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Chapel with Brother Anthony Williams officiating. Burial will be immediately following the funeral service at the Bennington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dillon Huckstead, Chris Boston, James Riddling, and Candace Griffith.
