Karen Aliene King of Durant, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the age 49 years and one day. She was born on Monday, April 8, 1963 in San Angleo, Texas to Jimmie E. and Nancy (Applebee) McDonald.
Karen enjoyed many things but she especially enjoyed playing bingo at the Choctaw Casino. She loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband, John King of the home; daughter, April Knight and husband Roger of Oakland, Tennessee; sons, Timothy Sowers and wife Pam of Kountze, Texas and Jarrod Sowers and fiance Brittney Patterson of Austin, Texas; brother, Jimmy McDonald, Jr. and wife Annette of Abilene, Texas; father, Jimmy McDonald, Sr. and wife Barbara of Abilene, Texas; sister, Kathy Proctor of Levelland, Texas; grandmother, Harriet Applebee of Bangor, Maine; grandchildren, Jessica Knight of Oakland, Tennessee, and Chloe Sowers of Kountze, Texas.
Mrs. King was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Rose; step-father, Chester Rose.
